Quirky name for your bathrooms! Our renovated ‘Wash Hut’ is conveniently located in the central position in the valley. It is only short stroll away from anywhere you are at the campsite. There are three wash rooms at the campsite equipped with showers, flushing toilets and basins.
Two are exclusively reserved for our Bell Tent guests ( Bell tents benefit of their private facilities), and the largest one (family size) is for our shepherd’s hut and camping guests.
There is also a washing-up station for our nearly-wild pitches and a small fridge for your convenience. Bins are located near-by: general waste bin, compost bin and mixed recycling. All information regarding our recycling is clearly displayed around the campsite.
In ‘The Summer Kitchen’, exclusive for only two families glamping in our bell tents, you will find all equipment for your cooking and dining needs:
wood fired oven, Argentinian asado grill, charcoal BBQs, fridge, washing up facilities, drinking water, gas hob and extensive selection of utensils, cutlery, crockery and saucepans and pans, plus some essentials like oil, salt, some spices, teabags, alu-foil etc. to start you off or if you left something behind. Worth knowing is that our most local shop – The Lea Stores is well stocked up with most items you may need during your stay, so no need to fret! We also grow some nice herbs for you… you can usually find some parsley, oregano, basil, rosemary and chives growing… oh! and some mint for your cheeky G&T!
In the Wash Hut you will also find a small corner with games, books, activity ideas, volleyball set, maps, guides and leaflets for local attractions.
There also is local information for emergencies and simple First Aid Kit.
There is also Asgard BIKE STORE for your convenience, for any cycles you wish to store under a roof.
This one… hmm is a work in progress type of thing!
It is an old Polytunnel which is now reduced in size and kept as an additional shelter if the weather isn’t playing ball.
All a bit rustic and simple, but there is a mud kitchen and a Wendy house to keep the smaller guests occupied, some straw bales to sit on and a table tennis. Please just don’t bring any flames under the roof… no firepits, candles or bbq – thanks.
We have tried to think (very hard!) of anything you might need to know prior and during your stay so here are some rules and conditions for all guests staying with us. If you have any further queries, we are more than happy to answer them – please don’t hesitate to drop us an email or call us to discuss.
We (currently) haven’t got a magic wand for any crazy wishes – but endeavour to help with most request so don’t be afraid to ask!
